QA Higher Education is looking to appoint a Psychology Lecturer to join our Birmingham-based Psychology team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of a BPS-aligned Psychology curriculum and help shape the academic experience of a diverse and growing student population.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging teaching across core Psychology subjects and contribute to curriculum development, research activity, student support, and academic quality assurance. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in Biological Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Individual Differences, and/or Research Methods.
About You
You will have:
- A postgraduate qualification in Psychology (Master's or PhD desirable)
- Eligibility for Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) with the British Psychological Society
- Experience teaching Psychology within Higher Education
- Knowledge of BPS accreditation requirements and the CORE GBC curriculum
- Strong communication, organisational and student support skills
- A commitment to delivering an outstanding student experience
Experience teaching Research Methods and supporting laboratory-based practical work would be advantageous.
